|INDIA CHINA COOPERATION
SWHT promotes the India and China IT industry. The China India Software Association (CISA) was established in 2003 with the China Ministry of Science and Technology and India Ministry for IT Industry to promote bilateral cooperation between software companies. Hong Kong-based CISA serves as an international platform linking software companies and IT professionals.
ISRAELI TECHNOLOGY BRIDGE
Studying CISA success, the Israeli government invited Dr. Choi to Tel Aviv to participate as a keynote speaker on IT cooperation between China and Israel for the Prime Minister’s 2004 Conference. Two months later, China Hong Kong Israel Technology Cooperation and Promotion Center was formed in Hong Kong to promote technology and business cooperation.
In November 2008, Sunwah initiated the establishment of the Hong Kong-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce to promote co-operation, networking and investment opportunities between Hong Kong and Vietnam.
HONG KONG - KOREA BUSINESS PLATFORM
Initiated by the Consul General of Korea in Hong Kong and the leading Hong Kong business community, the “Hong Kong – Korea Business Council” (HKKBC) was inaugurated in Hong Kong on 20 January 2014. Deputy Minister for International Trade and Investment of the Republic of Korea, Mr. Kwon Pyung Oh, and Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury of the HKSAR, Professor K. C. Chan officiated at the Inauguration Ceremony held at the Shangri La Hotel.
Dr. Jonathan Choi, and Chairman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong（KCC）Mr. Kim Byum Soo, serve as Founding Chairman and Director of the Council respectively. The CGCC serves as the secretariat. Dr. Choi was appointed Honorary Ambassador of Foreign Investment Promotion for Korea in recognition of his contribution to business development between Kore and Hong Kong.
There are 85 founding members mostly from members of the CGCC and the KCC. These include corporations like Sunwah Group, Bank of China（HK）, KOTRA（The Korea Business Centre in HK）, and Korea Foreign Exchange Banks in HK. The Council provides a business platform and serve as a bridge between China and Korea for mutual benefit in the innovative, cultural, and tourist areas.
Hong Kong-Japan Business Co-operation Committee
The Hong Kong-Japan Business Co-operation Committee (HK-JBCC) organises high level business- to-business dialogue to foster understanding between the business communities of Hong Kong and Japan, and promote trade, investment and other economic co-operation between the two territories. Chaired by Dr. Jonathan Choi, members of the HK-JBCC are represented by leaders from a broad spectrum of trade and industry. The Hong Kong trade Development Council acts as the Secretariat for the Committee. They meet once a year to enhance mutual understanding and explore new dimensions that can broaden and deepen business partnership between Hong Kong and Japan.
